Marta came round by 9.45, so we went out to Hambleton, parked close to the village,
and walked round most of the peninsula path, past patches of bluebells.
. The wind was still cold, but we paused for coffee part way round, and when we finished our almost 5 miles, we lunched at the Orchard cafe, just outside Uppingham.
