I walked with Harry, Norma and Maureen from Weekley village.
We walked across the parkland to the road to Warkton, where the Ise goes under a bridge
We crossed the road and took the footpath close to the lay-by. This follows the river Ise. From the path there are distant views of Warkton church.
The path leads into Kettering close to Wicksteed Park.
We bought a very good cortado, served in a proper cup, and good light toasted teacakes.
We returned by the same route to make 6 miles in all. Path slightly muddy still, but easily walkable.
