Market Harborough to Foxton Locks and back

Thu, 2015 Dec 31 9:29 AM GMT
With Gordon, Eddie, Maureen and Harry. Along the Harborough Arm of the GUC. Beautiful day, with a chill wind at times. (Other device tells me 11.5 miles!

Market Harborough Waterfront

Reflections on a sheltered stretch of the canal

A few people grabbing the sunshine

Upstaged by the ice cream cone!

Jack Cryer celebrating Christmas

We've met him before
Looking down the flight of locks

On the return leg

A bridge . . .

And another bridge!
Along the canal we saw one, or possibly two kingfishers - close enough to look, but too far to catch a decent picture this time! Magical birds.

It was a lovely day for a walk yesterday Alison, best weather we have had for a while. You took some nice scenes as well.

That looks wonderful. Lovely photos especially the reflections and the two bridges.

The Market Harborough waterfront reminds me of Newark's, albeit on a larger scale
