We set off at 10.30 ish to head for Rainham to see Harry’s cousin David, and his wife Janet, who we hadn’t seen for 13 years, along with their granddaughter.
The area turns rapidly suburban then industrial, as we go through the Medway tunnel, and along the A2.
Lunch at a very good Turkish restaurant Galatea Mezze - big portions, fresh salad…
Then a short walk uphill slightly south west from where you can see the Thames and Medway, and across into Essex.
