At the feeders there were plenty of tits - mainly bluetits and coal tits with great tits and one willow or marsh tit. We saw a jay flying into the trees.
It was quieter than on some occasions - we used to see woodpeckers regualr from that hide, but they haven't been in evidence recently. Lovely autumn colours in spite of dull skies though!
Some of the trees - maples and sycamore - have been lovely. I fear the recent wind and rain will make short work of them, now. But roadside trees near Corby, Stamford and Peterborough, I believe too, have put on a grand show.

Lovely colours this autumn for you too. THese deep red leaves about (cherry?) have been so vivid.

Is there much of Autumn to see in the trees Alison. Unfortunately I am missing the change of leaves at Fineshade this year.
