A good option - we avoided muddy fields and paths, and had a coffee stop at the Willow Tree café. Good weather, a bit windy, and a couple of showers.
From the causeway car park, we walked over the causeway and followed the track around the reservoir.
The café is about four and a half miles from the start, leaving two and a half miles to complete the walk.
