Hambleton peninsula, Rutland Water

Mon, 2014 Jan 20 9:26 AM GMT
6 miles in glorious sunshine with frost on the ground. With Maureen, Eddie and Gordon.

Straightforward walk, following the fishermen's track clockwise from the end of the road through Hambleton.

We walked down to the waterside and sat in the sun for a good twenty minutes.  Hardly a breath of wind.

  1. Some nice scenes and just the ideal place for a walk on a frosty day Alison. Makes a nice change from struggling through the mud.

  2. It was delightful, and almost effortless!
